YEAH!!! The MAST is DONE!

The mast is up, as of today.  Crane came to the Ross Marine Yard, they raised up the heavy monster and put it on the new mast step.  And we are DONE DONE DONE… Lets go Cruising!!!!

Well, looks like they forgot to install my $900 (USD) wind transducer.  But hell, the new lights on the mast look awesome.  To be fair, I wasn’t at the yard when the mast went up and I am judging this by the picture sent to me by Ted Smith, who is working my rigging with Charleston Yachting.

Take a look.  I see one on the boat behind mine. But I don’t see one on mine.  Oh well, we will sort it out in a couple of days.

But then I am tanking this thing up and getting gone…

Well, my new Schaefer roller reefing is not on.  Neither is my stay sail.  Did I mention, they put the old back stay on.  Seems they didn’t get the right swage fittings in; so those are getting Fed-Ex’d.

But, maybe we can get her in the water this week still or early next.
