I have had Ventolines for 10 or 11 years. I can’t remember, honestly. She has delivered me on many adventures. But, my family and I are starting to pivot to something bigger. A bigger adventure needs a bigger boat.
I hope to document the process here. It will take time and I still work for a living, but I hope to add everything here. Right now, we know we want to move from sailing our small boat on an inland lake, to something larger on the ocean.
I see the process this way:
- Identify the type of ocean sailing my wife and son would like to do
- Determine roughly the types of boats that will help with that
- Find a buyers broker we can stand and work with
- Find the boat; a used one
- Fix it up as needed.
- Fix ourselves up as needed
- Go sailing…
And sell Ventolines to her next owner.
